Our trip to St.Louis!!

What a blast we had!! I can't tell you enough how much fun we all had! We tried to do everything we could do in the 2 days we were there. If we could stay longer I so would have! I miss it already! Now we are back in "Hellville"!!So we stayed on post there and since we brought our dog with us they gave us a 3 bedroom house to stay in! It was just like an on post housing but they renovated the older ones to temporary lodging which is super nice!! We had our own little yard and corner unit with a park in the back! They supplied a kennel and food dishes even though we brought ours but I thought that alone was great! It was fully equipped with kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer even though we only stayed and night and didn't have to use it but now we at least know next time we go there we just need to bring ourselves and clothes! LOLSo the first day we got there we went to the St.Louis Zoo.... BEST ever!! This was our fourth time... So I already had tons of pictures of the animals but as most of you know AJ LOVES penguins so I had to take more of them....They have a Build a Bear in the zoo and our 2nd time there AJ got a penguin and Leilani got a prairie dog so when we went this time they brought them and we got them an outfit for each of them.Here are some pictures of our trip to the zoo...(click to make them bigger)

Now as for this lil guy! Dean was waving our little bag we got from BABW and he looked over so I snapped the pic! Well good thing I got the pic of him when I did BECAUSE that nasty lil thing did something not good for little ones eyes haha!!

We went in the penguin igloo twice!!

After the zoo we went back to the house and spent time with our doggie till it was time to eat!! We ended up going to Red Robin! YUM!

I did have a drink okay I had two! I had my nuclear ice tea! Love my long islands!

And then Dean went and had the bartender make me a drink and Man that was good!!

After that I was done!

The next day we went over to Grant's Farm! Cool place to go! It's free well so was the zoo!! Just pay for parking! It's owned by Anheuser-Busch! Which meant 2 free beers!! LOL Dean loves that part! They had the biggest horses ever so beautiful!

After this we went back to the house and check out and got our doggie so he could join us in going to the St.Louis Arch and around the city!!

There was a HUGE muesum under the arch!! Here are some pictures Dean took while he and the kids were down there... I had Hugo so we chilled out in the sun for a bit.

The Cardinals were playing!! I took these as we were driving by....

Then it was back over to towards the zoo where there is TONS to do! From muesums to walking trails to just about whatever... We went to a place called the Boathouse and we did the paddle boat! The cool thing was it was very pet friendly!!! Hugo had a blast on the paddle boat!

Those of you who know me know that I'm terrified of birds and well we went under a bridge in the paddle boat and there one was in a nest!!! RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD!!

Leilani brought her BABW stickers and wanted me to take a picture of it for her...

Can you tell who gave up paddling?? Yeah that would be ME! LOL

Can we say thank God paddle boats are NOT enclosed!!!

On our way home we stopped off at our rest stop we always stop at and let Hugo go potty and played fetch for a bit...

On the way home we had Applebee's to celebrate Father's Day and Dean's Birthday which is Wed!! Leilani and I surprised him and told the waitress it was his bday and they all came over and sang to him and gave him a strawberry cheesecake shooter! His face was priceless!!

OH by the way this whole tomato crap is really starting to annoy me!! I had the hardest time trying to order!!! LOL
